Disassociate Address

ec2_disassociate_address R Documentation

Disassociates an Elastic IP address from the instance or network interface it's associated with

Description

Disassociates an Elastic IP address from the instance or network interface it's associated with.

This is an idempotent operation. If you perform the operation more than once, Amazon EC2 doesn't return an error.

Usage

ec2_disassociate_address(AssociationId, PublicIp, DryRun)

Arguments

AssociationId

The association ID. This parameter is required.

PublicIp

Deprecated.

DryRun

Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

Value

An empty list.

Request syntax

svc$disassociate_address(
  AssociationId = "string",
  PublicIp = "string",
  DryRun = TRUE|FALSE
)
